The Inbox Repair tool creates a backup file with the same name as the original, but with a .bak extension, and saves it in the same folder. There may be items in the backup file that you might be able to recover that the Inbox Repair tool couldn't. You can create a new Outlook Data File and drag the items in the Lost and Found folder into the new data file.

If you used the workaround below you can now switch from using an Outlook.com alias to your country's domain. Then, each item in your calendar folder is checked for known problems that can cause unexpected behavior, such as meetings that get Outlook running again seem to be missing. Installing any important, recommended, and optional updates can often correct problems by replacing out-of-date files and fixing vulnerabilities. Outlook forwards meeting invitations to other attendees without anyone actually sending an update or forwarding an invite.
