While Outlook has limited built-in options, they often fail when dealing with severely damaged or orphaned files. It enables you to recover data from damaged OST files and convert them into accessible PST format, preserving the original folder structure and formatting. ScanPST.exe is a useful tool that can help you repair and restore corrupt or damaged PST file. However, it may fail if the PST file is severely corrupt, oversized (larger than 2 GB), and/or encrypted. In such cases, you use an advanced Outlook PST repair tool, such as Stellar Repair for Outlook, to repair severely damaged and/or large PST file with complete integrity and precision.

To import contacts from other email services, export contacts, or clean up duplicate contacts, select an option from the Manage contacts menu. Add a contact to your Favorites by selecting a contact in the list, and then selecting Add to favorites. When you add someone as a favorite in People, they'll also show up under Favorites in Mail, and the other way around, provided that the contact has an email address. There might also be a visual alert that a message is unread, has an attachment, or is flagged. This is a lightweight app designed to handle multiple accounts and fairly moderate email use. Follow these steps to let Outlook diagnose and fix errors in your Outlook mail profile that might be causing the issue. You can create a new Outlook Data File and drag the items in the Lost and Found folder into the new data file. After you've moved all the items, you can remove the Recovered Personal Folders (.pst) file, including the Lost and Found folder. To create a new Outlook Data File, go to Create an Outlook Data File. The steps to access the repair tool vary depending on your operating system. If you can't open Outlook, or Outlook disappears or crashes, one of your add-ins may be to blame or you may need to update Outlook.

Whether you are a Microsoft Outlook, Exchange or Fix Outlook Support Office 365 user, you may come across or encounter the PST files. These Outlook data (PST) files store user’s data, including email messages, calendars, tasks, journals, etc. However, if the SCANPST or Inbox Repair tool fails to repair the PST file, remember to use an advanced Outlook PST repair tool, such as Stellar Repair for Outlook. It can repair corrupt, inaccessible, or encrypted PST files of any size, with complete integrity. Remember that the backup file was the original corrupted file, and you may find that you cannot recover anything other than what was recovered in the Lost and Found folder. If you cannot import the Newname.pst file into Outlook, unfortunately you have lost all the information that is not in the Lost and Found folder.

Availability has recovered, and engineers are investigating the root cause and identifying problematic servers. The team is sweeping all remaining capacity to identify and address residual issues. While these Microsoft accounts work in other Microsoft products (e.g. OneDrive, Windows, Xbox), they are non-functional when visiting Outlook.com. Currently, you can't use Outlook on Windows to edit calendars that are shared with your Outlook.com account, even if you've reconnected your Outlook.com account to Outlook. We're working to make it possible to edit shared calendars in Outlook 2016 for Windows. We are aware that some users may not be able to receive email from Gmail accounts.

If you are having problems with Outlook, there are a few things we can help with to get you back to sending and receiving your email. Some email providers (such as your ISP or even Gmail) won't let you send messages larger than a certain size. Adding pictures and large attachments to your message can prevent you from sending that message (and any messages sent after the large message).
